"We do not know where taste comes from or instinct.
No one can teach you.
Wherever we come from, we are born alone with it."
Yves Saint Laurent film 2014
Hello,
a little story about me:
In one very remote place lived a very cheerful teenage girl, Annette. In outward appearance, she was a little, fragile girl but inside she was a strong, energetic, and visionary person. She had a strong passion to ballet that nurtured in Annette sense of beauty and aesthetics, aspiration for art and creativity.
Once upon a time, Annette went to the summer camp. She was a very open-minded child and she met a lot of friends in the camp. However, Annette will be recalling over her future life only one particular meeting in the camp.
Young professional psychologist, Elena, led fascinating exercises and trainings for children in the summer camp. One day, Elena asked children to close their eyes and imagine a box. After what every child was asked to describe the imaginary box and a content of a box. When the turn came to Annette, she clearly saw in her mind a huge antique wooden chest. This chest was full of incredible, age-old, royal-styled long dresses. Each dress was handcrafted and decorated with precious jewels and reflected the personality of a master who put his heart and soul into the creation of each dress. Annette amazed Elena with such a passionate and detailed description of the chest and its content.
Afterwards, Elena came to Annette and told her that it was clear from the visionary exercise that Annette had an inner passion for fashion, beauty, and garments. Elena added that probably one day these inner interests would become explicit and very important part of Annette's life.
In about 10 years Annette will recall the "imaginary box" exercise and understand the heart of Elena’s words. The inner passion of a teenage gir that was unclear 10 years ago now became prevail in her life.
